Virtual sample mainly used to show the customer what their logo will look like on a actual product that they are buying or selling. It will give some idea to customer how it will look before printing on the actual product. Virtual mockups also allow manufacturers of USB drives and their clients to go back and forth on the design of their custom USB drives until they reach a final version the clients are completely satisfied with. If virtual samples were not used, the alternative option would be to print a sample each time a modification was required and convey that sample either by taking a photo of an actual sample that was produced or by sending it via mail to the client. Comparing against product renderings allows for better cohesion between manufacturer and clients.
